Disposable Tinfoil Trays: Universes of Meaning
Some years ago, in my creative quest for new ideas and elements to bring to the canvas, I came across by coincidence one day in the kitchen with a disposable tinfoil tray.
I put some strawberries in it and what I saw reflecting on the walls of this tiny object, captured my attention and started to lead me in a creative journey that has only expanded in many directions since then.
I have been collecting disposable tinfoil trays, almost on a weekly basis, and I do exercises of composition, modulation, pairing, and visualisation. I play with them and as if I was a chimpanzee exploring, put or remove objects to observe, learn and explore.
